I saw a yellow leaf today. Rather than feeling mortified that winter is approaching, I felt inspired, and created a recipe that screams fall
- 1 14oz. can pure pumpkin
- 1/2 c. unsweetened apple sauce
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Cook all ingredients in a small sauce pan on medium heat stirring constantly for 15-20 minutes.
I recommend that you spread it, along with a glob of almond butter, on top of a slice of chewy, seedy toast.
