There’s something about yoga that makes me crave tofu.
In my pre-veggie days, deli-meat was a staple. Spicy-Chicken please and thank you!
But now that I’m no longer doing the meat thing, and I’ve never been a fan of faux meats (I’m talking to you, Tofurkey), I’ve found a way to get a taste of an old favourite.
- 1/5 block extra-firm tofu, pressed
- 1/4 c. vegetable broth
- Italian herb mix
- Red Pepper Flakes
Slice the tofu as thinly as possible. Toss tofu into a pan with remaining ingredients at medium high heat and allow the vegetable broth to reduce completely.
